Academic Camp Description AM Academic Program = Our morning academic program will strengthen skill sets that are necessary for when your child returns back to school in August. Designed with rigor and Common Core focus, our curriculum and talented faculty will delivery an acdemic program that is insightful and engaging. Our academic programs will be taught in two respective grade levels, 6th grade and 7th + 8th grade combo class. All classes will focus on reading comprehension, writing, and public speaking. We will be using short stories as the framework for the course. Sports Enrichment Description PM Athletics Program = Our afternoon sports program will focus on character building qualities. Each day your child will be exposed to an important character trait that will not only add value to sportsmanship, but also expose your child to the joy that is found when collaborating and playing with a team. The organized sports will include a variety of traditional and untraditional sports games such as Castleball, Star Wars, and Capture the Flag which allow kids to play and develop a variety of sports skills. They will also have a choice to participate in an Advanced Sports group, which will focus on skill development, practice, and playing the game. The games and sports are always centered around fun, teamwork, building friendships, and sportsmanship.
